Frequently Asked Questions

I cannot log in to the app

If you are having trouble signing in, try the following steps:

  1. Verify that you are using the correct email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen to reset your password.
  3. Ensure your device has an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular).
  4. Force-quit the app and reopen it. On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-press the Home button) and swipe the app away.
  5. Check that you are running the latest version of the app from the App Store.

If the problem persists, contact your organization's administrator to confirm your account is active, or email our support team.

My photos are not syncing to the server

Photo uploads require a stable network connection. To troubleshoot:

  1. Check your internet connection. Photos will not upload over very weak connections.
  2. Open the app and navigate to the service report. A sync indicator will show pending uploads.
  3. Make sure the app has permission to access your photos: go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Wildlife Relocation Pro and select "Full Access" or "Add Photos Only."
  4. If you are on cellular data, confirm that cellular uploads are enabled in the app's Settings screen.
  5. Try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data to reset the connection.
Tip: Photos taken while offline are queued automatically and will upload once you have a stable connection. Do not delete the app while uploads are pending, as this may result in data loss.
How does offline mode work?

Wildlife Relocation Pro is designed to work in areas with limited or no connectivity:

  • Job data: Your assigned jobs and customer details are cached locally when you open the app with an internet connection. This data remains available offline.
  • Service reports: You can create and complete service reports while offline. They will be saved on your device and automatically submitted when connectivity is restored.
  • Photos: Photos taken offline are stored locally and queued for upload. They will sync automatically when the app detects a network connection.
  • Maps: Map tiles that were previously loaded may be available offline. For guaranteed offline maps, view the job site area on the map while you have connectivity.

An indicator at the top of the app shows your current connection status. When offline, a banner will appear confirming that changes are being saved locally.

GPS location seems inaccurate

GPS accuracy can vary based on environmental conditions. To improve accuracy:

  1. Ensure Location Services are enabled: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Wildlife Relocation Pro. Select "While Using the App."
  2. Enable "Precise Location" for the app in iOS Settings for best accuracy.
  3. Move to an open area away from tall buildings or dense tree cover, which can interfere with GPS signals.
  4. Wait 10 to 15 seconds after opening the map for the GPS to acquire a more accurate fix.
  5. Restart the app if the location indicator does not appear.
Tip: GPS accuracy is typically within 5 to 10 meters in open areas. In dense forests or urban canyons, accuracy may decrease to 20 to 50 meters. The app displays a blue circle around your location to indicate the accuracy range.
The app crashes or freezes

If the app is crashing or becoming unresponsive:

  1. Update the app: Open the App Store, go to your profile, and check for updates. Running the latest version resolves most known issues.
  2. Restart the app: Force-quit by swiping it away from the app switcher, then reopen it.
  3. Restart your device: A device restart clears temporary memory and can resolve persistent issues.
  4. Check storage: Go to iOS Settings > General > iPhone Storage. If your device is nearly full, the app may not have enough space to operate. Free up space by removing unused apps or media.
  5. Reinstall the app: Delete the app and reinstall from the App Store. Your data is stored on the server, so you will not lose completed service reports. Pending offline reports that have not synced will be lost, so sync before reinstalling if possible.

If crashes continue after these steps, please email support@wildliferelocation.pro with your device model, iOS version, and a description of when the crash occurs.

I am not receiving push notifications

Push notifications alert you to new job assignments and schedule changes. If you are not receiving them:

  1. Go to iOS Settings > Notifications > Wildlife Relocation Pro and ensure notifications are enabled.
  2. Check that "Allow Notifications" is turned on, and that Alerts, Sounds, or Badges are enabled as desired.
  3. Make sure the app is not in a Focus mode that silences notifications.
  4. Open the app and go to Settings to confirm push notifications are enabled within the app.
  5. Log out and log back in to refresh your push notification registration.
How do I update my account information?

You can update your name and contact details within the app under Settings > Profile. To change your email address or reset your password, use the options on the Profile screen. For changes to your role or organization, contact your administrator.
